KROOK, Mr. Stefan CEO KIVRA, Sweden Wednesday, September 9th13:30-14:45 | Session VIII: JOINT MEETING WITH NORTHERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES | Topic 1: Shared Nordic infrastructures towards a digital single market | Speaker 1 Stefan Krook is a serial entrepreneur that co-founded the European IP-telephony pioneer Glocalnet back in 1997. Within five years, Stefan had challenged the Swedish telecommunications monopoly and taken the company to the Stockholm Stock Exchange. In 2004 he decided to found the GoodCause foundation, where he is Chairman today. The foundation starts and operates companies (e.g. GodEl and GodFond) that donate all dividends to good causes (until early 2015 more than 5 MUSD). Today Stefan is CEO of Kivra that replaces paper mail with a digital service with the goal to save millions of trees. Stefan was awarded the Social Capitalist Award by Veckans Affärer in 2013.
