Dror Margalit joined the Digital Israel Bureau in September 2014 as the Deputy for Technologies. He is responsible for overseeing the technological aspects and infrastructure of Israel's digital transformation programs, in collaboration with the National ICT Authority and the Cyber Authority. Dror also oversees the digital transformation programs of the Welfare Ministry and the Justice Ministry.

Before joining the government, Dror worked in the private sector where he held senior management and leading positions at start-ups and hi-tech companies since 2002.

Up until 2002, Dror served in the IDF. In his last position, Dror was the commander of an elite IDF C4I computer unit and prior to that he headed the IDF's computer science academy.

Dror has a Master's in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude.
