The Chief Digital Officer at Lantmäteriet, the Swedish Mapping, Cadastre and Land Registration Authority is in charge of the digital agenda of the organization. By managing activities and direct business development according to the principal "digital first" along with a progressive innovation programme the implementation of complete digital businesses is an objective to be reached within then next 3 years.
Lantmäteriet is in the Swedish frontline in digitizing but as many other public offices the use of paper as information bearer still has an impact on operation
Mr Snäll has worked with development at Lantmäteriet since 1997 and as a development director he has led the Swedish Land Registry from a paper based business to an almost complete digital operation. He has worked with aid and support on the Land Administration area participating in project in a number of countries such as Armenia, Serbia, Botswana, Vietnam, Belarus, Croatia, Mongolia and Georgia. He is currently team leader for a 3 year project in Georgia.
