Transforming Nations | from e to d to AI
A warm thank you goes out to all the speakers and delegates who attended the 52nd ICA Conference 3rd - 6th of September in Helsinki. Over one hundred officials gathered to yet another successful annual event, hosted this year by the Finnish Government, including officers from over 35 countries and international organizations.
This year’s Governance Day was quite different than in years past. It called for the traditional Board and Council meetings but also welcomed a new collaborative initiative to the ICA Programme.
How have AI experts been equipping themselves to respond, as the society moves from “d” to “AI”? What are the steps they have taken in responding to Government applications that aim to address societal challenges?
The Future of Public Services through AI: Government CIOs, public servants, industry, civil society and AI experts discussed accomplishments, future challenges and the role that public administration should play for the overall benefit of society.
Government ministers, leaders and innovators from across the world share how they are changing up service delivery and creating avenues for two-way engagement with citizens.
This conference event marked a special moment in ICA history as we saw the largest participation in past ICA chairs, 7 to be exact, and a great turn out in Life members!
