Miia Mänd has been the Head of IT Policy Department in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of Estonia for one year. Her responsibility area is the implementation of the Information Society Strategy of Estonia. Before this position she worked in the field of EU cohesion funding in the field of economic development leading the Foreign Financing Department of the Ministry. She holds a Master of Social Sciences - Master in Public Administration. She has also a qualification of fitness instructor.
