Rogelio is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Office of the President of Mexico. In his current role he is responsible for the IT and Telecommunications strategy and infrastructure within the Office. The technological decisions are aligned with Mexico’s National Digital Strategy, which promote the adoption and development of information and communication technologies, as well as effective governance to insert Mexico in the Knowledge Society.

He has an extensive IT/Telecommunications experience achieved from Ericsson and Lucent Technologies, where he worked for a total of 18 years. This experience covers commercial and large scale operations in mobile, telecom and data networks for the main operators in the US and Latin America (ATT, America Movil, Telefonica, Telmex, etc). Rogelio holds a Masters degree in Economics and Business from the Anahuac University and a Bachelors degree in Physics Engineering from the ITESM, both in Mexico.
